Privacy Policy

Plain-language information about what EquiZenergy collects, how it is used, and the choices subscribers and clients have regarding their information.

Updated October 9, 2026

The short version

EquiZenergy provides software, organization, and storage for equine wellness providers. We do not sell personal information or subscriber-entered client or horse records. Subscriber-entered records are not part of EquiZenergy's marketing database.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the EquiZenergy public website at equizenergy.com and to the EquiZenergy business-management application at app.equizenergy.com.

It explains how EquiZenergy LLC collects, uses, stores, and shares information when subscribers use the website or app, and how we handle information subscribers enter about their own clients and horses.

2. Information we collect

Account and business information

When a subscriber creates or maintains an EquiZenergy account, we may collect information such as name, email address, business information, service selections, profile details, logo or branding, account preferences, and other information the subscriber chooses to provide.

Launch-notification information

If you ask to be notified when EquiZenergy launches, we collect the email address you provide and, if you choose to provide it, your first name. We also record whether you separately opt in to occasional EquiZenergy product news. We use the email address to send the requested launch notification. We send broader product news only when that separate option is selected.

Subscriber-entered records

Subscribers may enter or upload business records such as client or horse-owner contact information, horse information, session records, body-map responses, SOAP-style notes, releases and electronic signatures, veterinary documents, appointments, invoices, package information, and related business records.

Subscription and payment information

Subscription and payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. EquiZenergy may receive information needed to manage the subscription, such as payment status, plan status, transaction references, or billing-related account information.

Technical information

When the website or app is used, we may receive limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP address, browser or device information, authentication activity, system logs, and similar operational data.

3. Subscriber business records

Client and horse records belong to the subscriber's business records, not EquiZenergy's marketing database.

EquiZenergy provides software, organization, and storage for records created and maintained by subscribers. EquiZenergy is a place for subscribers to keep and work with those records; it does not determine what information a subscriber should enter or how the subscriber should use the record.

The subscriber remains in control of the information they enter and the records they create.

If you are an individual client or horse owner seeking access to, correction of, or deletion of information contained in a subscriber's business records, please contact that subscriber directly. EquiZenergy may assist the subscriber when appropriate, but the subscriber is the primary point of contact for those records.

4. How we use information

EquiZenergy uses information as reasonably necessary to operate the website and app, including to:

  • create and manage subscriber accounts;
  • authenticate users and help keep accounts secure;
  • store, organize, display, sync, and export subscriber business records;
  • support releases, reports, scheduling, invoices, packages, and client communications;
  • process and manage subscriptions and payments;
  • provide customer support and troubleshoot technical issues;
  • maintain reliability, prevent misuse, and protect the service; and
  • send a requested EquiZenergy launch notification and, only with separate consent, occasional product news;
  • comply with applicable legal obligations.

EquiZenergy does not use subscriber-entered client or horse records for unrelated advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Third-party service providers and sharing

EquiZenergy may use third-party service providers and infrastructure vendors that are required to run the website and app. These may include providers for cloud hosting, authentication, database or file storage, payment processing, email delivery, limited analytics, security, monitoring, and other technical infrastructure.

Examples may include Google/Firebase/Google Cloud for infrastructure and authentication, Stripe for payment processing, and email-delivery providers used to send app communications.

We may also disclose information when reasonably required by law, legal process, or to protect the security, rights, or integrity of EquiZenergy, its users, or the service.

EquiZenergy does not sell personal information or subscriber-entered client or horse records.

6. Cookies and limited analytics

EquiZenergy uses cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for functions such as authentication, security, preferences, and normal operation of the website or app.

We may also use limited analytics to understand basic website or application performance and usage. At launch, EquiZenergy does not intend to use advertising trackers as part of its standard website or app experience.

7. Retention, export, and deletion

We retain subscriber-entered business records while an account is active. Canceling your subscription stops future renewals but does not immediately delete those records. After paid access ends, the workspace becomes read-only, and available records can be viewed or exported for 90 days. When that 90-day period ends, access to the records ends; this does not, by itself, automatically delete them. Records remain stored until you request deletion, subject to the legal, security, and operational exceptions described below.

You may request deletion at any time. Deletion requests may take up to 30 days to process.

Subscribers can export available business data in CSV format whenever that export is provided within the app. Subscribers are encouraged to maintain their own backup copies of records they may need for business, tax, legal, professional, insurance, or record-retention purposes.

Launch-notification signups may be retained through the launch communication. If you separately opt in to occasional product news, your email may be retained for that purpose until you ask us to stop. You can make that request at info@equizenergy.com.

Some limited information may be retained when reasonably necessary to comply with law, resolve disputes, maintain security, prevent fraud or misuse, or enforce agreements.

8. Security

EquiZenergy uses administrative and technical measures intended to protect information and limit access to authorized users and third-party service providers. No online system can guarantee absolute security, and subscribers should also protect their login credentials and maintain appropriate backups of important business records.

9. Privacy requests

Subscribers may contact EquiZenergy to request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of their EquiZenergy account information, subject to records that may need to be retained for legal, security, or operational reasons.

If the request concerns a client or horse record created by a subscriber, the individual client or horse owner should contact that subscriber directly. EquiZenergy may assist the subscriber as appropriate.

Requests may take up to 30 days to process.

10. Age and U.S. availability

EquiZenergy subscriber accounts are intended for adults age 18 and older.

At launch, EquiZenergy is intended for subscribers in the United States. If the service expands internationally, this Privacy Policy may be updated to address additional privacy requirements.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as EquiZenergy changes, as third-party service providers or features change, or as privacy requirements evolve. When we make material updates, we will update the effective date and provide notice when appropriate.
